Welcome to the Reflection virtual workshop.

In this workshop, I take you through each and every stitch or technique that you will work into the Reflection project.

The stitches and techniques are provided as generic samples in the online stitch dictionary which you can access by CLICKING HERE.

I do not record my stitching while working a design. My teaching method involves teaching you all of the stitches slowly and systematically, with you working each stitch or technique on a doodle cloth that is provided, with extra threads and beads, in the teaching pack that you received with your project kit.
The stitches are recorded as generic samples on shapes that are provided on the templates document. CLICK HERE to access the template document.

For the sake of clarity, the stitch samples are worked with thicker threads, mostly a perle #5 thread. You have been provided with this thread in the teaching kit, along with a perle #12 and stranded cotton. There is also a packet of mixed beads for use while learning the bead embroidery stitches.
There is a chenille needle pinned to your doodle cloth. This needle will accommodate the thicker threads and when using thinner threads, you will be able to use one of the needles from your project needle book.
In the videos below, I talk you through the project in the order in which the instructions are given in the booklet that accompanies your full kit.
Everything will be clear to you once we have gone through the live sessions and you have learnt the stitches and techniques.
Allow me to apologise in advance for the background noises in the videos. I have four relentlessly playful large dogs, a very tall husband and wooden floors, all of which contribute to noises in the background and if I were to wait until everything was quiet, I would not get anything done.
And now for the videos that talk you through the project.
